Fitness to row

Rowing is a strenuous sport. If you are in any doubt about your fitness to row, you should consult your doctor or therapist.

If you have a medical condition that may require special assistance or possible intervention please let the session coach know. This is particularly important if you are asthmatic (requiring an inhaler), have a severe allergy (requiring an Epi-pen) or are taking any other medicine (such as insulin for example).

Please do not attend training if you are taken ill. Training while ill will not help you recover any quicker and there is no sense in passing an illness onto your crew mates.

Report any training injury to the session coach who should be able to advise on the best course of action to deal with it. Avoid training with a pre-existing injury.
