    20th July 2017

Our new Janos single was also officially named at the OGM on Tuesday 18th and is called the Golden Oldies.  Many members will remember that we previously had a double of that name and older members will even recall the original Golden Oldies themselves - tucked away in Ye White Hart, keeping the barrel ticking-over on a Sunday lunchtime.  This name was chosen as a nod to a more recent generation of Cygnet Oldies who have sadly passed away in the last couple of years. After a long gestation and several near misses, one of our novice crews finally popped their cherry at Barnes & Mortlake Regatta International [sic]. Great to get a win on home waters and congratulations to Robin, Ian, Scott Sam and Gareth (cox). The second crew were knocked-out in their heat but...

    29th April 2017

First silverware of the season for Cygnet at Chiswick Regatta as Big Dave French powers past all comers to take the Novice 1x in some style and proving that is Scullers Head result wasn't just a fluke! After a shocking start, our Novice 4+ eased past Parrs in their first heat. Unfortunately it...
