Cygnet Henley Lunch

Originally an invitation-only 'Veterans' event, the Henley Lunch is now open to all club members and the invitation is extended to ex–members and their friends who are also welcome with or without partners.

As the name suggests the lunch takes place in Henley, at Leander Club, with drinks and canapés in the bar beforehand and for the more adventurous, the now legendary Chairman's Waddle down the river to the Flowerpot afterwards.

Between the two is a chance for many of older members to tell you about the 'good old days', some fine dining and a few speeches make for a great afternoon out – and another chance to show-off your expensive club blazer.

This event usually takes place in the second half of October and is highly recommended. Details of the next Henley lunch are posted below along with a reservation form. You can also contact the Lunch organiser, Stuart Gibbons, here
