End of Season Dinner
3rd September 2018
The End of Season Dinner is an informal event at which the new captain gets a chance to practice public speech a head of the Henley Lunch and everyone else gets a chance to practice their heckling.
It's also a chance for the active squad to let their hair down, have a few beers and talk twaddle about how they would have won at the Met if only...
There was also the important business of awarding the Wally Wheldal Cup to the most improved oarsman and the J.P. Jefferies Cup to the Clubman of the year, which this year went to Hendrik and Rupert respectively. Thanks also to Rupert for organising the evening.
