SAFETY MATTERS

Cygnet RC takes safety and navigation on the river very seriously. Safe practice is the responsibility of all members and is given full backing by both the captaincy and the committee. Safety consciousness helps to prevent accidents, injuries and damage. Any disregard for the safety of others is inexcusable and a breach of the legal "duty of care" each of us owes to all others affected by our actions or omissions. There are therefore clear moral, legal, and financial obligations, which make due regard to safety essential.
