Boat naming bonanza!

Accompanied by some glorious weather, the Civil Service boathouse hosted not one but two boat namings after outings on Saturday 23rd May

Cygnet named their new FIlippi coxed IV after her benefactor "Phil Brown" while BBLRC named their new Hudson coxless IV after the legend that is "Jackie Darling". Both boats were christened with the traditional waste of good fizz by Rubina Curtis, accompanied by speeches from the Cygnet President and BBLRC captain.
