Henley Friday at Old Blades

Members and friends of both Cygnet and BBLRC are invited into the most exclusive Henley enclosure, namely the garden at Old Blades during Henley Royal Regatta Friday, which this year falls on 4th July. 

This year is, of course the 60th Anniversary of our relationship with RG Benrath and approximately 30 Benrath members will be joining on the lawn at Old Blades. Cygnet RC will be arranging a buffet for all our guests along with some shelter – just in case! Although a certain amount of booze will also be supplied, Cygnet and BBL members are encouraged, as usual, to bring their own tipple to share but are welcome to join the buffet.

This invitation has been very kindly extended by our hostesses, Mrs Pat and Pru Sly. A particularly generous invitation given that we're expecting over 100 people to attend during the course of the day. Club members are welcome from around 12noon until 6pm (end of racing). Dress code is smart/club blazers.
