The Waddle
8th December 2018, 17:00
For those of you who are coming to the BBLRC Christmas Bash or indeed, those of you that aren't but fancy a cheeky pint or six, please find below details of The Waddle this Saturday. Please do let me know if you are interested in attending.
2018 Cygnet Waddle
In finest club tradition, you (and partners joining as guests for the meal) are invited to join the Cygnet Waddle, this year split between Barnes and Putney, en route to the Barnes Bridge Ladies Christmas Meal and Ball.
Meet at the Club any time but suggest from 17:00 onwards - I appreciate some of you have more hair than others to wash, straighten and otherwise make look presentable plus general pre-do faff so not a hard meet time but make your way to the club for a swift first round if you leave yourself enough time.
17:30 - The White Hart, Barnes
18:01 - Train Departure from Barnes Bridge to Putney
18:15 - The Coat and Badge, Putney
18:35 - The Duke, Putney Embankment
18:55 - Last call
19:00 Prompt - Arrive The Boathouse, Putney - Welcome Drink, followed by meal, fine company and dancing into the evening
It should be a good fun evening and hopefully this will have us in good spirits and on time to enjoy the rest of the evening with BBL Company. It goes without saying I'm sure that we are invited guests in joining the BBL Christmas, so please do enjoy yourselves and do as responsible Cygnet Gentlemen.
Dress Code: Black Tie, of course in finest waddling tradition.
Any questions do let me know. I'd be very grateful if you can confirm whether you are joining the Waddle so I know who is joining and who we need to wait for (or not!) if people are running late.
Best wishes
Rupert
